Our Easter Finest

Easter was a huge hit this year. Finnegan was quiet and reflective at church, sang the whole drive home, and tore off his socks and shoes to feel the spring air in between his toes on our Easter walk. But Finnegan's favorite part was the visit from the bunny. He caught on right away, and without instruction, he zoned in on the egg hunt.

a spring of visits!

It has been a fun few weeks for Finnegan (and his mom and dad). First, Uncle Stephen came for a visit. The weekend was filled with play, basketball, snacks, and more play. And while Finn didn't quite master saying "Uncle Stephen" he made up for it in smiles and requests to his uncle for more games, books, and hugs.
Second, Nonnie and Papaw visited while we got away for a quick conference/vacation to San Diego. The sun and sleep did wonders for Clark and me, and Finn charmed the socks off his grandparents. I'm not sure who had the most fun out of the five of us. Upon our return from California, Finn had increased his steppage from 2 baby steps to around 5 or 6. By the time you read this, he'll probably be running circles around the room.
