Summer and Finnegan are both in full swing. Summer- in its warmer temps, seemingly eternal sunlight, and amazing harvests. Finn- in the amount and speed of his speech and the level of enthusiasm surrounding all things monkey, water, and/or moving machines.
So in many ways, summer and Finn fit well together- trips to the farmers market with play by play commentary on the bicycles passing by; pools, water tables, and sprinklers in the afternoon heat; and any processing of summer fruits and veggies that includes the use of a mixer, blender, or food processor. We haven't found ways to incorporate monkeys into the summer fun, but books and youtube videos suffice for now.
