Recently Finn realized the animals at the shelter are looking for homes, so there's been a lot of talk at our house about getting a pet. Except the kind of pets discussed to come live with us range from fish to lynx to fossa. Seriously. So...when Finn befriended a ladybug that he found by our door and asked to keep him as pet, we needed to make this work.
In case you're wondering, ladybugs eat aphids in nature, but can also survive off raisins and honey through the winter. So we built a terrarium and are now the proud owners of Climber, the ladybug. Love at first ladybug sight.
