Spring Break 2015!!!

For spring break this year, Clark, Finn and I visited Nonnie and Papaw in Montana. While it wasn't the stuff of MTV, Finn's Spring Break did include some overindulgence (of the grandparent love variety), some sunshine, he got little wild on the slopes, and he ended the vacation in the hot tub. Not too far off from the typical spring breaker, right?
Clark and I ended the vacation relaxed and healthy- a little different from the spring breaks we remember- thanks to a night away at Big Mountain, heavenly meals, and great company and setting.

First time up on skis! There wasn't much snow, but Finn sought out the steepest snow bank he could find.

Post ski treat- roasted marshmallows at the campfire. 

With Finn happy at the cabin, we enjoyed 2 days on Big Mountain. Glorious!

Nonnie now has a sous chef to help her with all things ice-cream.

This was A HIT.

And it was a hit more than once.

Cartoons in the bath. How else could you end the day?

And if the trip wasn't great enough already, we left Bloomington with cold snowy wind and ice and returned to sunshine and warmth. Happy Spring!
